General Information
The lecture Statics (also Technical Mechanics I – TM1) aims at the students in the first university semester in the following degree programs: Mechanical and Process Engineering (MPE), Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen – Maschinenbau (WI), Computational Engineering (CE) and Bachelor of Education – Metalltechnik (BoE). The language of the lecture and exercises is German.
For a successful pass of the examination you can get 6 CPs for this lecture.
The lecture is provided regularly in each winter semester.
In each summer semester only a reexamination is provided.

Informations of Examination
The examination of the lecture Statics is provided in the winter semester, usually after the lecture period, and a repeated exam is provided in the summer semester, normally before the begin of the winter semester..
For this purpose a registration by TUCaN in due time is stringently required. The registration deadline is normally one month before the examination. Legally binding statement can however be given exclusively by the MechCenter.
During the examination a handwritten and not photocopied formulas without examples or exercise/examination items in the scale of a double-sided written DIN A4 paper as well as pantograph can be used. The use or the attempt of the use of all not mentioned resource (e.g. pocket calculator, laptop or mobile phone) is not permitted and is evaluated as a deception attempt
