Research Seminar Fluid Dynamics / Seminar Fluid Mechanics, Continuum Mechanics, and Geophysical Mechanics

The "Research Seminar Fluid Dynamics" is a lecture for the Master Mechanical and Process Engineering and evaluated with 4 CP. The "Seminar Fluid Mechanics, Continuum Mechanics and Geophysical Mechanics" is a lecture especially for Applied Mechanics and evaluatd with 3 CP.

General Information

The audience of the combined course “Research Seminar Fluid Dynamics / Seminar Fluid Mechanics, Continuum Mechanics and Geophysical Mechanics” is composed of students of mechanics, physics, mathematics and engineering. The fundamentals of the scientific work should be deepened with the help of topical subjects from the research. Each participant will work on an arranged subject from fluid mechanics, continuum mechanics or numerical methods. The seminar talks are held in seminar blocks at the end of semester. After the each talk a discussion is planned. For participants on the “Research Seminar Fluid Dynamics” a written report must be finished.

Prerequisites: Good basis knowledges from the area of fluid mechanics, continuum mechanics or numerical methods are profitable.

Course Frequency: Every semester
